Please come and try Tai Chi & QiGong for Health & Wellbeing with Teresa. No experience needed. You learn at your own pace in a safe and welcoming group environment. For those with a walking aid or balance issues, the movements may be done seated.

Tai Chi & QiGong for Health & Wellbeing with Teresa

Teresa is Certified as an Instructor of Tai Chi for Arthritis & Osteoporosis.

 

Traditionally Tai Chi & QiGong are performed in the outdoors in touch with nature. Unfortunately the weather is not always so kind. Here at the Mundaring Wellness Centre we are able to enjoy year round, perfect air conditioned comfort. The panoramic windows of Harmony Hall give us an opportunity to see the gardens, so it is easy to imagine we are outdoors.

 

:) Remember to enjoy the time to relax, reflect and chat at the Cafe Mojo.

 

Please come and learn at your own pace in a safe, welcoming and fun group environment. No previous experience is required, all levels are welcome.

If you have aches & pains, an ailment or specific health conditions, Teresa can draw on many years of experience to easily adapt or modify the movements to suite each individual. All the movements can be done standing or sitting. Chairs are available if you need to sit for part or all of the activity.

 

Dr Paul Lam of the Tai Chi Health Institute has designed the movements to be safe, effective and specific for people with arthritis and osteoporosis.

The Arthritis & Osteoporosis Foundation of WA in affiliation with Tai Chi WA specifically endorse Tai Chi for Arthritis and Osteoporosis programs.

 

:) No previous experience in Tai Chi is required, all levels are welcome

:) Chairs are available if you need to sit for part or all of the class

:) Wear loose comfortable clothing and comfortable flat soled shoes
