Mindfulness, Meditation, Relaxation - Mainstream Education for Everyone

Hello, with a lifetime of intuitive mindfulness and coping strategies I created myself for myself  when helping family and friends from a very young age, I have consolidated what I have learned to help others more broadly.

I  deliver and educate in a non-threatening, non-spiritual and religious, non-judgmental manner focusing on each individual learning the basics of strategies and tools to make use of in everyday life.  I ask nothing of anyone only that that each person comes with an open heart and open mind, prepared to simply take an hour out of busy, stressful, committed, demanding and dutiful lives to help themselves deal with life's challenges.  

The things I teach are very simple to understand and work with.  They help with daily challenges as well as anxiety, depression, focus and attention, PTSD, self support and kindness, reducing potential health issues such as high blood pressure, low immunity and auto immune disease. 

It's not a panacea for everything - but it most certainly supports all other medical and psychological treatments.

I am not a counselor, a psychologist, a psychiatrist.  I am a mother, daughter, 'glama', sister, aunty, friend... who has had a fair share of what life can deliver in an instant and requires skills to get through to the other side while building resistance, tenacity and stamina in preparation for the next surprise.

These skills I give freely to help you.  All ages, all abilities, all walks of life. There is no need to purchase anything before or after a class - simply make use of your body, breath, mind as your tools which are always with you.

Please don't wait for a crisis - certainly learn when things are in crisis or indeed life is ticking along nicely - then have these tools ready to access immediatley or know what to access and what to do when a crisis, confrontation or challenge hits. 

Like all skills, to perfect them needs practise.  So I also give you ideas on how you can practise without taking up time out of your day.  Maybe a little bit of homework at the end of the class to encourage you to take the very few minutes a day yourself.  No pressure though, take from my class what fits best for you.

I truly welcome you all to join in a relaxing hour on Sunday nights in preparation for the week ahead.  Time out for yourself, to help yourself and to help others around you in so many ways.

PS - Classes can be attended on a yoga mat or a chair if laying sitting on a flat low surface is difficult. 

Please bring your yoga mat and whatever props you need to make yourself comfortable (lumbar/neck support, bolster, block, foot rest), a bottle of water and your eye pillow (some will be for sale for $5 if you don't have one and do want one. For hygiene reasons they have to be sold not borrowed - that way too you'll have it for use at home).  Of course you can attend and do the class without one, it's not compulsory, but does add to your comfort when lying down.

Each person will have the space of a yoga mat or chair.  All ages are welcome to attend considering please that the time is intended to be peaceful and comfortable for all.  

Private sessions can be arranged for smaller children, those that being still isn't possible/likely, those that can't leave the home, or for many other reasons.  Please contact me and we'll discuss the best approach.
